Fall greetings to everyone! This is going to be an update-type piece, just to catch up on what’s happening in the universe of Evolve Lactation.
I’ve been reviewing and double-checking to be sure that paid members have all the access links they need to get to their features.
I’ve reviewed all the places and links to subscribe and join and - fingers crossed! - all the links and buttons should be in good working order.
These things felt important to me as we approach the end of the year. Yes, I know, some of you don’t like to hear those words, but there’s no denying that it’s coming.
The schedule of group coaching calls for paid subscribers is set for the remainder of November and December, and I’m stocking new content & downloads in the Evolve hub. (Paid members see below for details)
A Gift for You
I am including a link here to a new download that is helpful when discussing The First 100 Hours. It is called Bedside Lactation Strategies and could be useful for you and for other hospital staff & folks with whom you are discussing early lactation care strategies.

Podcast Updates
My podcast has a new name to match everything else in the Evolve Lactation universe. (If you see the old name somewhere, I know, there’s a glitch in the tech somewhere and I’m looking for it.)
Last week I released an episode called Being Absurdly Serious About Lactation.
Stay tuned for a new episode coming this week. It’s a workshop talk I created as a way to get us talking about how we talk about formula. I can’t wait for you to hear it!
The Future
That’s what I have planned for the rest of this work year: aside from my work for GOLD (where we are planning some absolutely stunning conferences & symposia for 2024), I’ll be recording podcasts for you, hosting group coaching calls for paid subscribers, and serving my 1:1 coaching call clients. Oh, and a little research & prep for some talks I’ll be doing in Jan & Feb! (And not to be forgotten: we’re planning multiple ways to celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary of Baby Café Bakersfield!!!)
I hope that you are planning how you would like the rest of this year to go. For me, I am very intentional about winding down responsibilities because I want to enjoy extra family time during these months.
I am so very grateful for each and every one of you for your dedication and commitment to constantly growing so that you can be the lactation care provider that your clients deserve. It takes a lot of very special people to do this work, and you are so valuable to our community.
