Are you on the Standard Path or an Evolved Path in your Lactation Career?
Evolve Lactation Community
A warm welcome! Whether you are new here or have been here a while, I wanted to share a little about my philosophy here at Evolve Lactation Community.
You can Find Me Here on Substack, writing about working in the lactation field, support for you as a lactation care provider (whether it is your primary work or secondary to your primary discipline), and training/education in human lactation.
I have a unique perspective on the lactation field, and I’ve been involved in lactation care since 2001. I’ve volunteered and worked in a wide variety of settings and organizations, and all of these various hats I’ve worn have opened my eyes and given me important insights into lactation care and the ever-changing state of the lactation field.
You can follow along here on Substack just by subscribing! It’s free, and I welcome you to share it with anyone you think might be interested. Everything I publish will land right in your inbox and you’ll never miss a thing if you subscribe.
*I create these pieces using a combination of podcasting and writing, so please share with your friends who love podcasts AND your friends who prefer to read!*

Are you connected in the right ways to advance your lactation career?
Connection = bringing people together, encouraging them to share, creating a safe place to ask questions - these are what help people to grow in confidence, knowledge, practical skills, and joy in their work.Â
We read so much about preventing compassion fatigue and burnout, focusing on our own mental health, and staying grounded as we work in challenging areas of human health. What we don't often find are real ways to be proactive about doing it. Being part of a collaborative group where you can share everything from clinical questions to new research you've read to your most vulnerable thoughts about the work you are doing...that's Evolve Lactation Community.
One last thing…if you could share this with someone else, that would help me immensely! Only you know who else is looking for something like this, so please help grow our community.
It only gets better from here.
