Are you connected in the right ways to advance your lactation career?
Connection - bringing people together, encouraging them to share, creating a safe place to ask questions - these are what help people to grow in confidence, knowledge, practical skills, and joy in their work.Â
In modern health care, we read so much about preventing compassion fatigue, focusing on our own mental health, and staying grounded as we work in challenging areas of human health. What we don't often find are real ways to be proactive about doing it. Being part of a collaborative group where you can share everything from clinical questions to new research you've read to your most vulnerable thoughts about the work you are doing...that's why I facilitate Evolve Lactation Community.
When people are new to the field of practicing lactation, or when they are isolated and working alone, such as in a rural area or in a private practice, it can be challenging to feel as if they have a community to help them process their work. Exploring cases and knowledge more fully is possible when you’re part of a group who shares your passion. Growing your confidence and your counseling skills is natural when you’re spending more time in conversation - even by text - with your peers and those who have more experience.
Connecting with others who share your passion for lactation work is something which is bringing current members joy…
Evolve membership has been a game-changer for me as the host. I could never have imagined how much it would mean to me to not only create, but to take part in this community.
Members come to us from many locations and share what’s happening in their corner of the planet.
Sharing links, documents, education events, and more is simple using our Telegram chat.
Speaking of Telegram, it’s like the simplest messaging app, and we have conversations going all the time there about things like clinical questions, research we’ve read, how we’re managing our lactation businesses, and more!
Evolve also contains a comprehensive library of pre-existing courses to watch, read, and listen - plus you can earn CERPs if you need them. We have explored topics including The First 100 Hours (an early lactation strategy for improving the duration of breastfeeding), Early Birds (all about supporting lactation for Late Preterm Infants), Embracing the Need (a dive into the 2022 US formula shortage), and the newest module on Human Milk Fortification.
I hope you will join us before the end of the year to take advantage of everything our community has to offer (& the 2022 pricing!)Â
Joining = Instant Access to our Telegram conversation, courses/CERPs, recordings of coaching calls, workbooks & exercises, and so much more…
Our 2023 Coaching Call schedule is almost ready. As a member, you’ll have access to 2 group coaching calls per month, and you can read summaries or listen to recordings of previous coaching calls as well. These calls are a wonderful resource for learning, asking questions, and finding inspiration and a place to engage in informative conversation about our very favorite topic - the practice of lactation care.
Please visit my website www.ChristineStaricka.com for details on how to join (it’s simple, there’s no minimum length of membership, and you get instant access to everything). I hope to see you there soon!
