I cringed when I saw the headline. My mother shared it with me and asked ‘what’s your stance on this’ and I felt like I was on trial for the entire profession.
Such a disappointing article that paints such a broad stroke on lactation professionals. Where are the articles criticizing physicians or dentists for taking part in the sham of education paid for by companies with a vested interest in a product like a medical laser?
And yet I’m not surprised except that I would have expected such an article to appear during World Breastfeeding Week.
