It’s so affirming to hear others say things that I often bring up with new parents- that people not meeting their bf goals in the US is not always about breastfeeding, it’s the system and the culture as well. And beyond that, it would be pretty wild if we were the one mammal species on Earth for whom lactation no longer functioned as designed.
